KTM 1290 SuperDuke in India

KTM said it would launch the 1290 SuperDuke in India in limited numbers. The Austrian company will initially bring the KTM 1290 SuperDuke via the CBU route by the end of this year. However KTM has plans to completely manufacture the SuperDuke 1290 in India by 2015.

Ahana Deol got engaged

  Ahana Deol got engaged to Delhi-based businessman Vaibhav Vora last weekend. Ahana and Vaibhav have reportedly been seeing each other for few months. Elder sister Esha, who had tied the knot with businessman Bharat Takhtani in June last year, posted a picture of li'l sister on the engagement day. Dad Dharmendra was also spotted in the picture.

Kamasutra 3D is packed with full of action

Filmmaker Rupesh Paul's ambitious project Kamasutra 3D, that has starlet Sherlyn Chopra as the female lead is packed with a star cast that boasts of talent and years of productive experience in soulful acting.

While it is Sherlyn who has been promoted as the face of the film and her nude videos have successfully contributed in escalating the upcoming flick's popularity, the other actors in the film are the ones with experience and powerful acting.

The cast of the film are: King Mal Khan, Salim Kumar, Nassar, Jackie Shroff and Makarand Deshpande.
The name of the male lead, King Mal Khan, was revealed at the 66th Cannes International Film Festival. King Mal Khan is a leading model who was selected because of his expertise in Indian dance forms, martial arts and also because he has a perfectly chiseled body, and not artificially created 'packs'.

Nassar (the iconic Baapji of Rowdy Rathore) is a well known South Indian actor, producer, writer, director, lyricist, and singer.

Jackie Shroff needs no introduction and Makarand Deshpande is yet another popular and talented actor who is a part of this ambitious film.

The film's crew has been shooting day and night to finish on time as the director has declared the release date to be September 15, 2013.

The movie is to have three variant versions - for Indian theatre audiences, for the television viewers and for the rest of the world. All the three versions would have their identical portrayal of the story for the viewers.

Salman Khan hit-and-run case of 2002

 

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan suffered a major setback as a Mumbai court on Monday rejected his revision application in connection with a hit-and-run case of 2002. He would now be tried for culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

The actor had sought review of the order of a Bandra magistrate court challenging the additional charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

Now there would be a trial against Salman in a sessions court.

There were a number of witnesses who had deposed in the court saying that the actor was driving fast and he was under the influence of alcohol. The prosecution had alleged that he had lived in Bandra all his life and was aware of the topography and that people slept on the footpath.

The defence had argued that the steering wheel of the Land Cruiser, he was driving, got locked. Salman's lawyer argued that the magistrate should have waited till the arguments were concluded in the court before passing an order to add Section 304 of the IPC against the celebrity.
