KTM said it would launch the 1290 SuperDuke in India in limited numbers. The Austrian company will initially bring the KTM 1290 SuperDuke via the CBU route by the end of this year. However KTM has plans to completely manufacture the SuperDuke 1290 in India by 2015.

Ahana Deol got engaged

  Ahana Deol got engaged to Delhi-based businessman Vaibhav Vora last weekend. Ahana and Vaibhav have reportedly been seeing each other for few months. Kamasutra 3D is packed with full of action

Filmmaker Rupesh Paul's ambitious project Kamasutra 3D, that has starlet Sherlyn Chopra as the female lead is packed with a star cast that boasts of talent and years of productive experience in soulful acting.

While it is Sherlyn who has been promoted as the face of the film and her nude videos have successfully contributed in escalating the upcoming flick's popularity, the other actors in the film are the ones with experience and powerful acting.

The cast of the film are: King Mal Khan, Salim Kumar, Nassar, Jackie Shroff and Makarand Deshpande.
The name of the male lead, King Mal Khan, was revealed at the 66th Cannes International Film Festival. King Mal Khan is a leading model who was selected because of his expertise in Indian dance forms, martial arts and also because he has a perfectly chiseled body, and not artificially created 'packs'.

Nassar (the iconic Baapji of Rowdy Rathore) is a well known South Indian actor, producer, writer, director, lyricist, and singer.

Jackie Shroff needs no introduction and Makarand Deshpande is yet another popular and talented actor who is a part of this ambitious film.

The film's crew has been shooting day and night to finish on time as the director has declared the release date to be September 15, 2013.

The movie is to have three variant versions - for Indian theatre audiences, for the television viewers and for the rest of the world. All the three versions would have their identical portrayal of the story for the viewers.

Salman Khan hit-and-run case of 2002

 

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan suffered a major setback as a Mumbai court on Monday rejected his revision application in connection with a hit-and-run case of 2002. He would now be tried for culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

The actor had sought review of the order of a Bandra magistrate court challenging the additional charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

Now there would be a trial against Salman in a sessions court.

There were a number of witnesses who had deposed in the court saying that the actor was driving fast and he was under the influence of alcohol. The prosecution had alleged that he had lived in Bandra all his life and was aware of the topography and that people slept on the footpath.

The defence had argued that the steering wheel of the Land Cruiser, he was driving, got locked. Salman's lawyer argued that the magistrate should have waited till the arguments were concluded in the court before passing an order to add Section 304 of the IPC against the celebrity.

The teen singer apparently rented the jet to fly him from Miami to Burbank, and only just made it in time before the pilot left without him
the Baby singer was scheduled to depart on the private jet at 11am.

He phoned to say he was running late, then reportedly showed up at 3pm only to say that he wasn't yet ready to leave because he still had to retrieve his monkey from West Palm Beach.

TMZ also reported that the teen had even chartered a helicopter to get to the animal without having to go through traffic.
Apparently the pilot was planning to leave without Bieber because his duty time was about to run out, but at 5:10pm the teen star made it on board... but whether or not the monkey was with him was not known.

It remains unclear if this is the same monkey - 'Mally' - that was seized from Bieber in Germany and re-homed in a zoo in late May, or whether he somehow managed to pick up a new one.

Bieber has had an eyebrow-raising year.

The star has had multiple run-ins with traffic cops, and according to reports, angry confrontations with neighbors over his speeding.

The teen idol caused another stir on Thursday when he posted his first Instagram short film that prompted speculation he may have been smoking marijuana before filming it.

The 15-second video featured a shirtless and glazed-eyed Bieber wearing a gold chain, black backward baseball cap and struggling to speak through bouts of laughter.

Jennifer Wicker crashed in a ball of flames at an airshow

A woman wing walker is feared dead after the plane she was riding crashed in a ball of flames at an airshow. 

Jennifer Wicker, a mother of two, was atop the biplane at the Dayton airshow in Ohio when it plunged to the ground in front of horrified onlookers.

Witnesses reported hearing screams as the plane dived to the ground.

Wicker was well-known as wing walker after being introduced to the daredevil activity by her former husband, who she divorced in 2002.

Authorities have not released the condition of Wicker or the pilot of the aircraf.

Women stripped her and Balbir thrashed her badly FOR LAND

A 50-year-old widow, Mito Bai was allegedly stripped, paraded around her house, her head shaved off and then beaten up by her half-a-dozen armed relatives who wanted to usurp her one-and-a-half bigha (around 0.93 acre) land that she sold without their knowledge.

The incident took place in Sahsan village of Bharatpur district on Thursday. Shocked by the incident a group of villagers caught two of the fleeing miscreants and handed them over to the police. They were Mito's brother-in-law (late husband's elder brother) Iqbal Singh and his wife Rajwant Kaur who were arrested and produced before a local court on Friday. The court sent them to judicial custody till June 26, said Madan Lal, SHO (station house officer) of Jurhara police station.

Four others who were successful in decamping allegedly with Mito's Rs.one lakh included Mito's another brother-in-law Balbir Singh, his wife Deepo, sister-in-law Gurna Bai and Iqbal's son Roop Singh. They were absconding and a hunt to nab them was launched, said Madan Lal. The victim had raised the money from selling the land.

As per the FIR, Mito had sold her land for Rs.one lakh on Wednesday. As soon as her relatives came to know about the deal the six accused armed with swords, sticks and scissors reached the victim's house in the morning. They grabbed her, Iqbal cut off her long hair with scissors while the accused women stripped her and Balbir thrashed her badly.

Her cries alarmed her neighbours and within no time the crowd swelled, sufficient to scare the miscreants who tried to escape. However, the crowd over powered the two of them.

Mito said that around 10 years back she had married the younger brother of her first husband after his death. Her second husband too died six years back leaving behind his 7-year-old son. From her first marriage she had two children - a 20-year-old son and a daughter aged 18 - who lived with her (Mito's) brother. She found it difficult to manage her 7-year-old son's education from her current income from the work as labourer. She was left with no alternative but to sell the land that was allotted by the government to her first husband. But her relatives wanted their share in the land, she alleged.

A source from John's camp says, "When media persons asked Sylvester for his comment in Beverly Hills recently, the star apparently said he was flattered that Bollywood was planning to get inspired from his yesteryear flick. Apparently while complimenting John on his work, Sly said he thought John had an even better built than the star himself. His exact words were, 'Actually, he's built better than I ever was'."

building collapsed in Mumbai's area on Monday

At least five people died and seven others were injured when in a five-floor building collapsed in central Mumbai's area on Monday

The building collapsed a day after heavy rain in the city.
The Altaf Manzil building, which is located near the famous Mahim dargah or shrine on Cadell Road, had a Maruti car showroom on its ground floor.

Several cars parked in the show room were also crushed.
